Another exceptionally talented local artist has just signed a deal with Volt Music Group — a division of The Music Scene Incorporated. The Music Scene is proud to play a part in taking our very own Durham area talent to the next level, and Patrick is indeed worthy. The Whitby native has been performing in various venues across Durham for the past couple of years and is creating a buzz in the industry.

Patrick is currently working in the studio with our own Brad Stella producing, and is set to release a full-length record this summer.

"Patrick is a true artist with an extremely unique sound", says Brad Stella, Creative Director of The Music Scene, and partner at Volt Music Group.

All who have heard Patrick will know of his "Hopes in High Places", the name of one of his original songs to be released on the new CD.

“When we saw the striped crosswalk, we couldn’t resist setting up this picture”, said Jeff. “The New York cab in the background was icing on the cake”.

All the hard work is finally paying off for Bootleg Glory, as big time interest in this local band has recently found them on the road to New York City for an exclusive showcase performance at a renowned venue in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. International heavyweights in the music industry have expressed interest in supporting their musical journey.

The partners in Volt Music Group, a division of The Music Scene Incorporated, are very excited to be playing a part in moving Bootleg Glory to the next level. After nearly three years of development and recording at The Music Scene under the creative wing of Co-founder and Partner Brad Stella, a CD will soon be released, and tour stops across Canada are being planned.

“Bootleg [Glory] is a big time example of what can be accomplished when you are prepared to dedicate yourself”, said Brad. “I can’t say enough about their work ethic. In every way, these guys really have it happening!”

Reflecting on the recent trip to New York, Music Scene Co-Founder and Partner Jeff Nester said, “These guys never looked for one minute like they didn’t belong on the international stage. They absolutely nailed the performance!”

The Music Scene and Volt Music Group will be announcing performance and CD release dates as they become available.

Bootleg GloryWhile the texture of the band continues to evolve, a seemingly infinite span of creativity and new sounds, the boys have also held fast to the rock and blues roots that formed the basis on which they grew.
